Used car salesmen. Today I drove 130km to look at a VE Series II SV6 for my son that was supposed to be in great condition (and I must admit the photos looked good), only to find every panel scratched, a piece of trim falling off and the rubber seals around the windscreen perished. Didn’t even bother to take it for a test drive. Salesman said all VEs are like that. Maybe in his world, not mine.

Yeah the side seals look terrible when they perish. A pair is 80 bucks and 15 mins to fit. Stealer should have tidied it up somewhat before trying to sell it for lot more than he paid for it.

Printers.
It feels like you have to do some special start up sequence, then restart everything just to actually be able to print a document.
And yes, I've tried to hold my tongue in different spots with no luck either.

Worked fine last week and the week before and so on.
Every now and then it goes "printer unavailable" so remove it from list and reinstall it.
Excel always searches for printer when opening a document

Should just be able to work, its stupid.

50 minutes later.
Would not work over wifi.
Wouldnt fix itself over wifi.
Wouldnt print off a USB because Excel sheet
Was about to become a piece of artwork in mosaic form out on the street.

Had to go get the usb cables out the work car (have a range of things to connect to devices at work)
Got the USB A (M) to USB A (F) lead. which needed to be M to M.
So had to go out again and grab the USB B to USB A lead.

Stupid technology

Had a Cannon Pimxa inkjet that took what seemed like an eternity to start up.
I'm sure it was doing a nozzle clean every time just to use up the ink so you had to run out and buy more of their overpriced OEM replacement ink tanks with the computer chip that renders the tanks useless for refilling.

We have 3 printers at work.
When we had 1 which would always crap out so it was replaced, Told the boss to get 2 just in case, We ended up with 3 so our backup printer has a backup printer

We ended up getting a laser printer those OEM ink cartridges are just to bloody expensive.

I put our printer on the home network, fixed IP address and that finally solved our connection issues.

I think the ink costs more than liquid gold!
