Transmission jack adapter

My current stands which are 3t max out at 460 mm.

4t = 605 mm max

6t = 620 mm max.

I've actually thought about this method, knowing my luck I won't be able to get the input shaft through the throwout bearing of something haha.

The main issue is getting this prick of an auto out. A hoist is pretty attractive, and I was always going to get one at some stage, but my tightassness pokes through every now and again and says 'a set of 4t stands is cheaper than a 4t hoist'.......

Just putting it out there...

And yes a hoist is the better option and the one I'd personally prefer too.....

Nah, I'd buy two pairs of new stands if I went this way.
