i have a vn sv enhanced v6 which is shot-i would love to know what a total rebuild high performance kit would cost very interested to know as am in the process of finding a mechanic to fully reco (with all high performance parts)-a total cost for parts would be awesome-many thanks jessiepal38

Hi jessiepal38,

The things speicalzed that we can supply you with for your rebuild is induction and valve train components (including cam and ported heads etc)

As for the other rebuild components I would look towards an ACL race series rebuild kit.

hey mace, with the bigger 85mm MAF sensors, what kind of power increases would i be looking at vt v6
and how much?

also on your website it says you need to reprogram the computer. is that something i can do or will it need to goto a ECU specialist? if so any idea on what thatd cost?

Going a bigger MAF should be considered one of your last mods and only if you plan on getting a custom tune because of the cost, which is normally around the $1100 mark. As for power increase on an engine with a fair few bolt on I would say around the 3-5kw mark +

The price for the CAI to suit would be $250, while postage to WA would be $22

I was thinking of replaceing the standard throttle body with a 69 mm bore.. What's your thoughts? Is it worth it? And what else do u suggest

Upgrading your throttle body is certainly a worth while investment however I would probably recommend first either our manifold insulator, or if your budget stretches that far, our higher ratio roller rockers.
