Valve spring number 3.

MyVE Maloo has done its third valve spring. I’m lucky I haven’t done the engine. I’ve never heard of the valve springs being an issue. Has anyone had an issue or even broken one. The replacement cost of an engine gives me nightmares.

has a cause been looked into for each time or are they just being replaced and on your way ?

Same spring or different one each time? Was the whole set replaced or just the failed spring each time?

Is the engine stock or modified?

It's relatively common on the LS. Crow springs are the worst for it. PAC Racing tend to be a lot better.
