Hey everyone, I just replaced the window belt mouldings, I think that’s their proper name, on my ve omega. Mine were falling apart and faded, the rubber strips that seal against the windows had perished and broken off. I had new genuine Holden ones in a cupboard for a while but never got round to putting them on the car. One thing I did notice while the trims were off was that 3 out of the 4 doors have been resprayed at some point in the past, under where the mouldings sit there was a visible masked paint edge where the respray went over the factory paint

I remember years ago whilst I was getting my old car auto serviced in Brendale QLD they was a yard where the stocked new cars mainly Holden (Last of the 2013 VE and New Vf's) and in that yard out the back behind closed eyes but unfortunately ay the same time the back yard of the auto service mob I saw a few Toyoto's and a few VE's and some VF's BRAND NEW and smashed. Now most of the VE and Vf's were damaged front and rear ("eg" from hit up the butt from the trucks ride from SA but at the same time I spotted one or two with door or doors caved in.
Now tell me was these car sold as NEW or with a Discount.
