VE SSV - dyno results low?

Seems a little low to me. Stock (2008 A6 with 20 inch rims) I made 211rwkw....with Orssom OTR, tune, 4 into 1 headers and full 2.5 inch XForce zorst, it went to 257rwkw.

Could be the dyno and or tune. If you feel inclined, take it to another shop and get them to dyno it for comparison.

where was it tuned mate?

Nope, still don't see how the weight difference could make a difference to your power output. It would affect how fast it is down the quarter, but not how much power the engine is putting out at the wheels.

Power output is power output, regardless of weight.

Rotational inertia, the heavier the wheel the more force it takes to spin it. The more force, or power used to spin up the wheel results in less power getting to ground.

hey all,

ill list off the mods on the car to start with

Orsomm OTR
Hurricane 4>1 1" 7/8 headers
200 CPI hi flow cats
2.5 inch perry/HM catback.

so basically OTR + full exhaust system
i have had the car mafless tuned and run up on the dyno.

now before any tuning was done - just bolt on mods the car produced 210rwkw

after mafless and custom tuning the car now produces 238rwkw........

my old SSv Sportwagon v8 manual made 223rwkw...stock and on std 91 ulp

ss reductions otr
xforce 4 into 1
200cpi cats
xforce 3" pipes

was told result was low due to $#!t fuel and cheap otr
so you should have got at least that figure with an orsom and good fuel
were your tyres pumped up?

orsom otrs not that good for the v8's they go alright on the 6 but not 8's lol
