Update:

Front springs and shocks in - already makes a massive difference to handling.

Going to a mechanic to get the rears done as they are a pain in the ass to do. All my other commodores have been a piece of piss for the rears.
Not the same for the VE Wagon. Took all the trimmings of to realise that doesn't give us access, then removed the boot floor and that still didn't help.

Turns out it is more complicated and mechanic workshops quote around 2 - 3 hours for the job. Since my mate (mechanic) doesnt have the equipment that makes this job easier were leaving it to the boys at Midas who gave the cheapest quote of $150.

Can't wait to see it lowered and feel the handling improve even more.

Finally on the laptop to upload some pictures (just average phone ones).

Car is lowered and sits real nice - wife hasnt scraped it on anything yet which is fantastic.

Brake pads were all low so changed all four pads with Bendix. When these wear through I will upgrade to Brembos.

Full license kicks in on Saturday so keen to drive it.

My mates and I are getting our SSVs together for a cruise to Victor. Taking out our camera so should have some proper photos after the weekend.

If you add them to your stock system (which both my mates are doing) they sit just on the legal limit of the db range, just.

Any chance of a vid of your mate's car...stock system with the marriage savers ?

Enjoy tomorrow !
