VE / VF Front / Rear Bar

Front bar consists of vx ss lower half & top bit (dont see, behind the wh caprice grill) is the wh top of bumper. Which of course allows the wh bonnet & grill.

The above pic is not a regular VF though. It’s HSV. Different tailgate and bumper to Holden VF.

That bar, sorta, kinda looks like it started life as a Crewman bar, then began growing other bits that I don't recognise.
Please explain.

I got it with this bar so I don't know the history. But since the only bars that exist here are the G8 and GXP bars, I'm assuming sections were grafted from most likely the G8 which is far more common. The lower reflectors are the same as the G8 and fifth gen Camaro.

It does look like a modified wagon bar. That would explain the tailgate touching.

Here is the VE R8 ute rear bar for comparison.

Both have that good gap below the tail gate though.
