Leave the square bit.
Pour some hot water over the hose where it pushes on. Good excuse for a cup of tea as well.
Should pull off easy enough.

Cheers, Also im about to pull the passenger side upper plenum away, Ive got all the scrivets out and it lifts up so you can see the cabin filter however it seems to be stuck on the windscreen around where the rubber seal is at the top of it?? Is there any more clips to remove? Dont want to yank on it Cheers

Yes there are clips. Lots. The yellow clips are push in. It needs to have a fair bit of force/strength to pop them up.
I damaged one mount on the panel with the yellow clips. On the panel you are working on, I also broke a mount. I need to get new clips for that. I put a red one in that I had to show how they fit.

I put the tape measure on so you can gauge wear to apply upward pressure to get one at a time. You might be able to get a trim tool in there. Put some cloth tape or thin foam tape on the bottom of the trim tool so it doesn’t scratch anything.

This is how the clip fits into the plastic seat.
