IIRC, the bimodal valves are opened and closed via a tightly controlled PWM 0 to 10v square wave signal.

Thanks for the links. Will put this one on my project list. Typical they make it harder than it needs to be.

I purchased them from Aliexpress here https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32850617234.html. They have been on the car now for 18 months. No problems. I was more referring to the clip on support bracket that goes around the plug, not the actual plug itself.

I'm not sure what you are refering to. That plug is a direct connect fit to the exhaust valve module and there is nothing else required to secure it.

EDIT: I saw the pictures and I have no idea where to get the plastic surround. I didn't use them on my retrofit and haven't had a problem in almost 2 years of use.

Might be a silly question, but i can see there is a part number of the sorts on the support clip that opens up and goes around the plug.
You wouldn't be able to tell me that number would you?
