slight hesitation when taking off gently ( dead spot)give it a wee bit more foot and it takes off fast.Any solutions ???.

Try cleaning the throttle body. The butterfly could be sticking at light throttle.

VF Redline Sedan - A6 Spitfire MSE...
Could be so many things. My first thought was electronic e.g accelerator pedal position sensor. Ron is right (if a little dry lol), best to take it to a mechanic.
