VE Manual Clubsport Tourer. I really wanted the VF but couldn't afford it atm. One day though, I've been reading about the poor Americans and how badly they want our Commodores now. They are the same price as they were new over there, we don't realise how lucky we have it. Only way they got a VF over there, it had to be called a SS. Worse than that, they turned a beautiful car into an ugly one ruining them with ugly front bars and chevy badges.

Things are so bad in the US that they are now buying Holden badges to turn them from G8/SS into VE/VF.

That's nice car. The interior is much nicer on VF too. Probably too much fuss and money for manual conversion though

Tried to get some more air for cheap.
Like $150 bucks all up cheap ;)

HSV R8 bimodal intake and Ryco O2 Rush filter.

I stuck the butterfly on the intake to open as it's not viable to sort out electronics.
The intake duct is bigger than stock...

I ended up removing Ryco o2 rush air filter. The rubber seal is very thick and it took lots of force to close the airbox. Also the filter is so thick that it covered 1/2 of the opening on the airbox. When i took it out it had a tear in the rubber seal. I threw it in the bin. Back to k&n now

MSE hole plugged up properly.

Here it is in case anyone needs part number. It was $38 and 6 more left in Australian stock according to Holden

Amazing that they've designed a part to fill a hole they put in!? Presumably all shells (SV6, evoke etc?) have the hole plugged up with one of these?

I would be surprised if other variants have the hole at all ?
Anyone can confirm this ?
