VH wheel size

Hello there

I have a VH and had Vy S-pac rims on it, at the time thats all that i thought would fit on the car. I tried to fit Vx SS wheels but it seems that the tyre would rub on the front struts -_-
Im pretty sure the Vy rims where 16x7 and the Vx SS where 17x8 not 100% but something like that

Ive seen a few pics of VHs VKs etc with big rims and been wondering how people got away with it?

Would appreciate the help thanks

I had 17x7.5 on my vh no problem up front. Sometimes the tyre sidewalls can be an issue

I tried putting 16 inch rims with a standard tire on them and they would scrub had to buy 215 tires so they wouldn't scrub

I'm running vz ss 18's with 235-40-18 tyres without any problems at all

Yeah i may have to squeeze a smaller tyre on and may fit

What size tyres were you running?

Well ive sold the VY wheels ive had on it, but 235/45 R17 are on the VX ss rims

I have VX SS rims on my VK at the moment and have no scrubbing issues and its lowered atleast 3inches

You should be able to run 235 17's man, but it will JUST fit! I did in my vc and had all of 2mm clearance.

Rims were by ss rims btw.

Same with mine hey, I forgot to mention that. As well as running the vz ss18's it's also got ssl springs all round
