I was negotiating with Pavtek but I saw this come up for sale.
The engine has come from a club/show car. Has 4000k on it. I
t comes with everything. Too good to pass by.

Engine Specs:

308 motor stroked to 355ci with ’60 thou overbore running 9:5.1 Compression.
Holley 650cfm HP Series Polished Double Pumper Carby with 14inch K&N Air Filter.
Russell Braided Dual Inlet Fuel Line with Autometer Fuel PSI Gauge and Braided Hose Line Running Down to Mechanical Fuel Pump.
308 Polished Stripmaster Manifold with Matching Polished Thermostat Housing. Atop of the manifold is a 1 inch Carby Spacer and Red Billet Holley Throttle Bracket.
Brock B-Cast Heads with Large Valves. 1.5 Ratio Street Rockers.
IPR Alloy Race Rocker Covers with Billet Oil Cap and Braided Hose Lines with Earl Fittings into Oil Catch Can.
Crane Stage 4 Hyd. Camshaft, 236 duration and .520 lift. Hyd Lifters.
Double Row Timing Chain. Race Harmonic Balancer. Hi-Volume Sump.
Distributor and Coil with 9mm Eagle Leads.
Water pump, Thermofan, Hi-Volume Oil Pump.
Alternator, Powersteering Pump and all Brackets, Pulleys and Belts.
Flywheel and Engine Mounts.
Most Bolts and Washers are Chrome or Zinc Plated.
Alloy Radiator with Alloy Cap and Gates Braided Hose Line.
Genie Headers and single 2.5 system with muffler.
It should all fit under the bonnet without the carby spacer.

I am still chasing a V8 pedal box.

The more I look at it with the wheels on the more I think I might just repaint in original black over silver without any body kit.
I have checked the paint code and it is an original Tuxedo Black.
It will look a lot tougher when it is dropped 50mm.
Everything for this beast seems to be coming together very smoothly.
I suppose that what happens when you have a plan and a decent budget.

THer is one on ebay at this time. Reasonably priced to I thought for what it is.
Tempting but I am now very much committed to this project. The black calais with the brown leather interrior has always been a dream car for me. So I am going to spend a few bucks on this one, do it right and keep it.

Maybe even sell of the BMW 330i when it is all done.

I think it was meant too be everything has just come togethe reasonably easy so far.

mate, i cant speak for anyone else, but personally:
tuxedo black over silver with stock calais trim is the way i would go. just the way holden intended, but with more power and better ride. that'd make me a happy man for a very long time.

tuxedo black on a dead straight car just ooozes.
