Okay bit of an update....

I havent had the internet for the past couple of days, so i havent been able to update the thread till now...

On tuesday last week , I finally got the diff out (Thanks for the help rob), and wednesday it was dropped off at Boss Diffs.

....And before you say it...YES THE TANK IS DIRTY lol

As you can see the suspension in the rear had seen better days....

Well I picked up the diff on saturday and had a bit of a chat with Graham about the running in process for it and what the diff will and wount like.

As you can see, he cleaned it up and gave it a good scrub, but ill paint it in the next few days to make it shine lol

I also picked up some upper and lower complete nolathane trailing arms....

The suspension, diff and brake overhaul is slowly getting there and ill keep the updates comming!

The plan is to paint and fit an SS kit (ive already got it), put VP calais window surrounds (got around 3/4 of it) and get series 2 calais chrome stripes..

Okay been a good month since ive updated this thread.

Just got back on Saturday from 2 weeks in Singapore / Phuket, so nothing really has been happening with the Calais atm.

However today i asked my painter to see if he would paint the diff for me as im after a really nice finish, but he said he would have to charge me an arm and a leg for that, so pressure packs it is! lol

While i was there tho i decide to book in the Calais for the front bumper bar and drivers front fender to be resprayed on the 27th.

So gonna start to rub back the diff this week and pick up some springs and shocks and then put it all back together.

Well the Calais is getting closer and closer to getting back on the road!

Well after being in peoples VN-VS's with pedders gear, I had a chat to my mate Ashley and hes ordered me some big bore rear shocks and sedan 'low' springs. So i should have them by tuesday.

Also spent today at upi lonsdale, and picked up some metal VS door handles that will get painted white when the Calais goes in for paint in 2 weeks.

And finally today i got started rubbing back the diff.
