I think @Dunlop was referring to the actuator assy. as a solenoid.

Oh, my repair is going well. Need to check a photo of inside before I glue or seal it together.

Will hopefully take a photo this evening once I'm home.

Hi there, this is my final test of the actuator motor workings.
I used this test to decide it was working how it should.
Now all complete.
