VS central locking passenger actuator rear door and passenger front door

I'm drilling the holes for new bolts and self tappers.
I'm wondering how the lock pins shoots up, and is then taken back down when key button is pressed

I'm wondering if the Grey engauging slider plate is sitting in its correct place?

I'll have to sit the other bolts in. And the 2 self tappers. Testing it with a battery and jumper wires it's moving up, I switch the wires, and it moves down.

I Will post back when got the other fasteners in place.

My passenger rear actuator mainly is unlocking, but not locking it self anymore. If I lock it by hand, it has been unlocking.

I've taken it out of the door, and apart.
Photo(s) attached.

What could be wrong?

Edit: my front passenger door unlocks and locks. When it unlocks its making a clicking noise, like some thing is moving quickly. I can take a YouTube video if wanted.

I've had a similar problem with my VR for a couple of months - when the weather started getting cold and wet, the passenger rear door snib stopped locking, then the other rear passenger door stopped. Occasionally the right side rear door would work, but since the weather has become milder, they all seem to be working now with the exception of the left front lock which makes a 'ratatat' noise when opening but it still locks... Very likely corrosion in the contacts in the mechanism. I've been meaning to spray some electrical cleaner and lube in once I tak the door covers off.

Lock works, but just has the clicking sound with it.

Exactly the sound my VR front passenger side door makes but it's been doing it for months... Issue is that I'll prob have to replace the solenoid but they are about $130...

You don't have to use glue. The fasteners will be plenty strong. Run some silicone down the seam taking care not to ingress on the 'gears' side of the case. Less is more
