Hey
My passenger rear actuator mainly is unlocking, but not locking it self anymore. If I lock it by hand, it has been unlocking.

I've taken it out of the door, and apart.
Photo(s) attached.

What could be wrong?

Edit: my front passenger door unlocks and locks. When it unlocks its making a clicking noise, like some thing is moving quickly. I can take a YouTube video if wanted.

Thanks
Pete

It may not be the actuator, if you disconnect the rod or on of the rods that go to the door, does it lock?

To test with the door open just put a screwdriver in to click the catch in simulating it closed. Then try unlocking and then locking

Sometimes it's the red nib stopping it from going down

Thanks ephect, I'll try that. If all goes well I'll try it tomorrow.

Afternoon, I've had the actuator plugged in just now, and it doesn't want to play the correct game.

It's like the contacts / circuit board is malfunctioning or some thing.

I can move the rods manually.

New motor? Where from.

Cheers

Link for front door
Lock works, but just has the clicking sound with it.

Black with red trace is unlock, I get test light lit with that on unlock remote button.

Black with yellow trace is lock, I get test light lit with that on lock remote button.

I'm unsure how to test the other wires for ground I would say?

That's strange on both left hand side front and rear..

Can you try the left actuator on the right rear to see if it does the same thing? Might point to wiring or bcm output.

Hesitant to suggest swap right to left yet as unsure if doing so will screw it.
