UPDATE
today while i was driving in heavy traffic my car got pretty hot and it ran as smooth as the day i got it but when i hit the highway it cooled down and started screwing up again ....

Have you checked the error codes?

Sounds like a crank angle sensor and/or Cam angle sensor.

Could be the temperature sensor sending incorrect info to the ECU. There are 2 sensors - one for the temp gauge and the other for the ECU. I'd also change your thermostat.
The fact the your car rand smooth when hotter than 'normal' is a good clue!!

Good Luck.
