The battery went dead and drained the system. Recharged the battery, started ok however notices the lt/100km read 99.9 lt/100km, its sucked more gas than before. Tried restting with tech 2, showed 00.0 then after idling for a few minutes went back to 99.9. Any suggestions how to get things back to Normal?

Drive it.
Whenever the the fuel trims get reset (example disconnecting the battery or flat battery), the fuel trims always start high & after some driving will work there way down.
