How to test a throttle position sensor (P0121, P0122) GM wiring integrity -ScannerDanner

What I am showing in this video is how to quickly test a throttle position sensor and wiring.

The tps seems ok when I tested it, doesn't it need to be programmed and reset right to make it work though. I could only test volts and oms.
Is there a chart for the earth connections or wiring diagrams for the vx if anyone has a spare lying around?

I'm just going through the processes of whatever people offer up here with suggestions I'll tick them off, haven't checked for fuel pressure at the rail. Do you know how to do this?

Crack the line at the rail carefully and slowly.

Yeah that's not going to work on an Eco. It's a press clamp at one end and reg at the other, best left undisturbed. You can remove a quick connect but as a start you could squeeze the line hard in your fingers (non reg side) and get someone to turn the ignition on. Does the line go rock hard?

That said it's doesn't rule out the reg, you can remove the reg vacuum line and see if there's any trace of fuel

any trick to getting it started again
ie wait half hour
pump accelerator
hold accelerator to floor
or just turn key once and it fires right up

Turn key fires first time every time after it stalled. I went to the tip today and she stalled 4 times, but only when warmed up to temp, iinitial old start up is fi e buy you can still see the revs dipping and rising. It idles perfectly its just when you release the gas pedal the revs drop right down and sometimes balance out other times just stall
