VY SS Starter Motor Clicking

My ute has good voltage at rest 12.5v and charging under load 13.5v.
Car runs if bump started or jumped but not off key.
I can only hear solenoid clicking.
Is there anything else to check before changing starter?
Recomended brands to buy and to stay away from please.

but you said jump starting works - in which case I'd be load testing the battery - it's probably dying under load.

Make sure the 13mm nuts at the front of the unit that hold the pos/earth are tight and the small solinoid wire in seated, does it make a single ping sound, when you turn the key?

Tight and a repetitive clicking sound

it's probably dying under load.

That's what i was thinking must be well below 9.6v under load.

(only 14 months old so got a warranty replacement + fitted)
