Late 80’s Hilux Snorkels fit onto the Adventra perfectly. They even have a recess for the antenna. Then creek crossings can happen.
Don't do what I did with a rental 4WD in the Mace River at Arrowtown (near Queenstown) going too fast.
Took a while to restart the engine. Had a couple of Steinies whilst waiting........
Also be careful of entry/exit angles on river edges.;)

I dont think my Adventra would be Water tight,
as the Door Seals I think are not perfect,
Hmm, no they are not Perfect.
As much as I would like to to replace them,
I have blown my budget now. :(

Get some silicone paste for $6.99 at Super Crap. Apply liberally and let sit over night with the doors open (if possible) you’ll get the seals puffed up almost like new.

I thought one of the vt rear door seals was leaking. It wasn't. The clear plastic seals underneath the door trims wasn't put back in place properly.
Got the seal fitting properly, & no more water on the rear floor.

A bit dismissive of the vehicle.
What is going on with this guy's accent?

What accent?

Surely Perthians don't all talk like that now.
I was getting irritated by his comments, pointing out the bleeding bloody obvious with nothing new, but 'no cup holders' in the back arm rest ! !.
That was it, end of story for me. Lack of USB ports should have been also mentioned. :(

Edit ........ is this the same vehicle ? 2004 Holden Special Vehicles Avalanche Auto 4WD (carsales.com.au)

Yeah sounded like I was back in WA.
Looks like this is the vehicle - I originally bought my Adventra from West Side coincidently. At the time, they had the only unmolested VZ LX8 around, all of the private ones had been fiddled around with too much for my liking.
I found all of the niggles later on, after the 3 month warranty was up.

That said, I am starting to think about this Avalanche. Despite the lack of cupholders for the back seat. Oh and only 4 gears.
However, prices look to have gone up a bit, like all Real Holdens and Big Fords, to be $38k.
