VZ no PIM data. Won't start

Hi guys, I have read countless threads and originaly suspected a faulty ECU until I've plugged the scanner in

VZ 2005 manual ute 170kw


Car switched off while driving down the freeway
-'very low fuel' (its full)
- car won't crank

ECM
P0521. EOP sensor performance

PCM (pim) won't Connect or give any data

BCM
-17 not on to start received from PCM
-07 pcm data lost
-26 abs data lost


My PIM ends with 030 if I get a pim with the same number Can i just enter the security codes? Or do I need need a pim out of a vz v6 manual ute?

PIM must match BCM, key head and ECU.

Best solution is a set from wrecker or eBay.

A replacement PIM on its own won’t work. Unless someone can VIN match it to your VIN using certain software.

TCM can be replaced without any problems. Only component that doesn’t need to be VIN matched.


To replace all the computers is not a big job and takes 15-20mins and 1/2 a beer.
