Looking at getting a Jaguar in the next year or two.

Around a '97 XJ model with the 4L straight 6. Preferably black or another dark colour with a black interior.

Sick of getting pulled over for being a p-plater in a commodore.

my dads got one a bit boaty in corners, but a nice car, fair bit of pull when it tries.

Call me a horrible holden owner, but for speed, im sorry, ford wins. Looks i would say holdens are certainly ahead tho, in so many models. Next car will probably be a BA-FG Turbo, Tune it, maybe bigger intercooler, bigger piping etc, 4" dump pipe, into 3" exhaust, get a cheeky 350ish at the engine hopefully. Or maybe a 315kw GS, who knows, wont be for a while anyway.

I personally don't see the need for speed here in Australia. I don't like too slow cars because I like a bit of overtaking power should I require it. Our government imposed speed limits make it unnecessary for me. (Don't get me wrong, I do understand why a lot of people love fast cars, just not for me here in OZ). Now if I lived back in my birth-country, Germany, I'd go for a fast car.

Here in Australia I prefer luxury over power. Lol, I sound like a hypocrite with my V8 Caprice but I bought it for comfort. The V6 would gave done me fine but the V8 was priced well at the time. I drive it like a grandpa anyhow.
