Drove my car 68km to and back from a clients house with my car whinging about either having no fuel, having low fuel or having 1/4 fuel, this fuel gauge thing is beginning to piss me off.

Thank god i know how far i can get from filling up the tank by KM, if i trusted my fuel gauge/dash i would have filled my car up so much all the time.

Here are some pics i took of my dash before i left the clients house and then when i got home.

Pic 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5

Once my fuel goes under half way mark, it has a mind of its own in regards to what it thinks it has left and goes up and down till i turn it off.

Never seems to do it once its above half way mark.

Swapped out the cat back from a single Redback to a dual outlet, drone be gone! Sounds like it use to; a typical Emo dead cow fart. Bonus is the SC drowns most of that out, but it would appear the lifters are whinging :-\

As the fuel sender is part of the fuel pump assembly, you have to buy it all together as one piece, genuine is about $200.

If only i had an extra $200 at the moment i would totally replace it.
