what does TRAP SPEED means......?

I got a vy series 2 and i had the auto elec to turn on the police mode and since then I had this option for Trap speed ,

got no idea what it does.
anyone got any idea ?

If you press 'set' while driving it freezes that current speed in memory so you can prove to your mates you hit 200km/h. It's useless, the police probably had it to try and prove what speed they were doing, but that doesn't prove whoever they were chasing was doing that speed so, useless.
