If you have a manual you will need a manual, if you have an auto you will need an auto. Answer Imoenger's question and it will be easier to tell you what options you have.

No, it wont work behind a V8.

It's a 07 VE SSV V6. So the gearbox has to come out of a older VE SSV or can it be just out of different model VE? That's what I'm trying to find out.
