It's not just Smithfield with the dreamers and their prices.....It's an Australia wide thing as you have seen for yourself when searching for various bits and pieces.

Yeah, but they don't have a full tank of fuel....Geez, we all know how expensive fuel is these days and I'd need it to get the car home after paying out that sort of coin...

$42k 2012 base SS wagon...... This is the asking price of a VF SS. I've saved it, it will be interesting to see what he drops the price too so he can move it. VF Redline ute sold here for $44k or less. I know because the car yard tried to sell it to me.

I don't know if that is good value or not, with COVID tax, supply of new cars tax, and rare HOLDEN tax.
It is a manual V8 wagon which are like chooks teeth. Shame about the addition of an extra Corolla bonnet..

Keep looking at carsales to keep up with asking prices on similar cars as mine for insurance purposes, but don't know if they are selling at those prices.
Particularly the Cross6, less than 150Km, hard lid, clean and straight ...... but not as clean as it could be if @Fu was the on the job.
