What petrol do you use?????

Anything 95 octane is good but Caltex/Safeway vortex seem to give the best mph at the track. BP 98 is a failure in a stock compression 304, it's worth like -5hp for me

BP Premium (95 RON). I will never fill my ute with any ethanol blend.

I decided to resurrect this thread on fuel .... so 10 years on ... what do people use and what do people think is a good fuel?

I asked the guy at the local petrol station if they use a lot of 95 and 98 and he said its actually all 91 but the tanker guy adds a special "chemical" (i assume an octane booster like MMT?)

I asked at a Caltex if they still put Techron (PEA) in their premium fuel and the answer was no ...

I use BP Ultimate 98 in my VX SS, had it from new and never had any issues with it. The BP servo is also the closest to where I live.
Stock standard car, it would run on 91 but have always used the 98.
