Yes as the title says whats more accurate. A GPS or the VF Speedo
What do you think?

On a flat road I'll say a GPS. On hills probably the speedo.

Yes clear flat road. I was dong 61 on the GPS in a 60 zone (RED Light Speed Camera). The VF Commodore Speedo shows 62 when the GPS is showing 60 so if the GPS was showing 61 the VF Speedo was showing 63 on a 60 Zone. What do you think, Am I lucky or not lucky

I go on the OBD2 with the dash command app GPS read out in my car.

At 60kms on the speedo is shows about 58-59 on the GPS.

At 115 on the speedo it shows 110 on the GPS and I have never got a ticket with cruise control set at 115kmh (in a 110zone)

Makes sense. Speedos will generally show a higher than actual speed.....some more than others.

I don't think they flash any more. At least the one in Dee Why NSW didn't flash when it got me in 2015....and I was in a rental car.

There's one I drive past coming home from work. It definitely flashes, I see it flash most weeks... there could be different types.

Most speedos are optimistic...by a couple of kays.

I’ve changed my wheels so I can dial in 64kph and be hovering on 60-61.

I use DashCommand also, to keep all in check.
