Will vp alternator brushes fit vr alternator?

I need new brushes for my vr alternator, just wondering if vp brushes will fit?

All vn to vs v8 alternators are the same. Vt (and vs3) v8 got 120amp and internal fan.
Previous models were 85amp external fan

Im talking about v6 ecotec, i foynd a cheap vp alternator and want to know if i can change out the brushes

To cut a long story short........YES they are the same brushes but different Regulators.

VP or VR alternator will not fit ecotec V6. Mounts and wiring plug is different.

We're talking about brushes within an alternator and not swapping actual units aren't we ???

VN-VR V6 and VN-VS V8 alternators all share the same reg/brushes. Ecotec is different I believe.

The VR and VS V6 reg and brush assy it the same apart from the wiring plug connector is different.
Have put VR reg assy into the VS ecotec alternator when doing an engine swap ecotec into VR.
