It looks like they've taken the ideas they should have implimented years ago, upgrading word pad, upgrading calculator, upgrading paint.

As far as the rest of it goes, it's like The windows 98 Windows Me type deal, exactly the same setup with different names.

Why can't they just work on SP2 for Vista instead of doing a new O/S??

And I still don't see why people bag Vista, it's never crashed on me, it doesn't run slow for me, and it's easy as hell to use.

Performance wise, if any version of Windows is running slow, you can always do little things like adjust the performance settings.

are you able to costomise the desktop more? As in do you own colour schemes instead of blue / olive green and silver like in XP?

While on the subject, does anyone know where i get get themes for xp?

yes you can change the theme's and colors in Windows 7.
theres sure to be downloadable themes made for it soon.
