mate i had these tyres on my clubby the 275/35/r19's got quoted $1007 a tyre to replace them...yes that is each! so no way i was guna pay that sorta coin for tyres that lasted only just 30000km and werent even that great. ended up getting some kumho KU31's, picked them up for $345 each...

They look terrible! looks like a mock up between an aurion, a G8 and a transformer...think mine (series 1 E series) looks a shed load better :thumbsup:

yeh prolly would do..however its only the rears that need replacing :whistling haha so yeh ill just replace the rears for now and possibly consider a package when they all need replacing :yeah:

well i certainly wouldnt class mine as having being old haha its got 29000km on it atm :whistling but i do want an oil that i can keep using until i eventually get rid of the car, so 10w-60 i think would be the better way to go...in terms of classifying a car as old motor wise i would say...

yeh think i mite go the 10w-60 hey...better all round protection and at the price you cant really fault it :p was a bit hesitant about the 5w-30 being too thin, and while i no hsv recommend it, i think a higher viscosity oil would be better suited for it. cheers for the input guys...

so wat castrol edge oil did u use on it? the 5w-30 or the 10w-60?

yeh while i do think the 5w-30 mite be a bit thin it is the recommended oil by HSV so you would think it would be right for the car yeh use to work at supercheap so have seen the castrol edge gear before, will take this into consideration in my final decision ;)

yeh had a few people look at it hey...one clutch joint at the start of the year when it wasnt so bad and they said it was fine...and had an autobahn guy rattle off a few things it could be but they didnt really seem accurate...really its only done it since i had the clutch fluid changed...so...

yeh cai def noticeable with rockers...ive got the yt cai on mine which yeh gives a bit better throttle response and a wikid whistling induction noise haha and yeh prolly the cheapest of the cai's available but a fairly basic setup...involving a piece of 4" dia pipe and a bracket haha see below...

had the same prob on mine bud...got sum silicone lubricant sprayed it round the lock part that pops up and then put the key in the door and lockd and then opend it a few times and now works fine...if i doesnt free up at first spray more lubricant round it and open and lock it a few more times it...

no motors dont just leak wen there are cold because oil gets thinner as it gets hotter...and the as viscosity grades are a rate of flow 10w would mean at colder temps the oil flows like an sae 10 grade oil...but sum do as u said wen gaskets have shat themselves and need replacing....i just think...
