Yeah won't be changing diff on my own that's for sure haha! Don't really want to spend over $500 on a diff and 3.7s seem to be the most pricey ones, after any lsd 3.07/.46/.73 whatever's decent prices and good condition really

Thanks for the help borrrtt but I've done all the research on all that and know quite a bit about l67s (previously owning one) going transgo shift kit and corvette servo soon, was meant to do 10 psi pulley but engine mounts came up so getting it done soon I'll do the bypass at the same time!

drivers seat reupholstered was wet in the pic mid clean and i fixed the side panel on the passenger seat as it was 'unroadworthy'

10352729_10152410344486100_254239451_n.jpg gave the engine bay a good clean

Plastdipped the badge black because i was bored and had a can lying around in the shed, turned out really well and makes the chrome strips stand out a lot better! Also fixed the rear passenger down lights as the buttons were pushed in and not lighting up.. took them out clipped it all back together and replaced one of the globes, good as new!

cars coming up good just really needs a new bonnet

Got approved by doctors to drive legally friday and went to a GMH VY VZ meet friday night, was a really good turnout! brought my VZ sv6 which ive been driving a lot lately, its cheaper on fuel and looks better :spot on: head off for over seas soon than when i get back im starting uni so gonna drive my vz and hold off on modding my Calais for a few months. My dad has been driving the calais to work so hes claimed it, hes buying a new car towards the end of the year so ill wait till than to start the mods !
heres a pic of my vz from the meet, i have to paint my slotted rotors as you can see theyve rusted and it needs more low on the front, planning on getting HSD coil overs for it in july (my bday)

Hey guys not much has been happening, I finally got my exemption so I've been driving it,
I sold my SSVs so looking at getting a new set of wheels, I bought a set of vz calais wheels for $250 with 95% tread all around to roll on for the time being. I vinyl wrapped my door handles in chrome which was pretty easy and only cost me $6! I also replaced the left cup holder as mine was missing the ring & used touch up paint to paint in all the little stone chips on the front bumper and bonnet, literally unnoticeable now

Plans for this month:
I've been eyeing off bbs LMs for about 2 years now so I think it's time to finally buy them thinking 19x8.5 f 19x9.5 rear or 18x9 all around or even 19x9.5 all around, I've gotta get down to the tyre shop and start trying on wheels! Looking at a low offset around 30 33 and 225/35 front 235/35 rear if I go staggered 19s or 235 all around if I go 9.5 all around some help here would be appreciated

I've bought a thick vz calais steering wheel that I need to fit as mines worm & torn

I've got SSL fronts sitting in the garage for this and need to take out the SSL rears and shortened shocks from my sv6 to put in this, hoping to do that this weekend and raise the sv6 to SLHD
( question would SSL front & SLHD rear look bad? Wouldn't mind attempting the front rake look)

I need to buy black leather ASAP as velour is ugly and hard to keep clean and I really need to buy a LSD diff for this as my pinion seal is leaking and single pegging is poo, if anyone has a 3.46 lsd diff let me know!

Also in the coming weeks depending on funds planning on giving it a service;
Engine oil & filter, fuel filter, panel filter, spark plugs & supercharger oil
Should make it run a bit better

Anyway that's the plans for now I want to have it looking good for C4C !! Some of you are probably shocked that '10psi' pulley isn't there but I'm enjoying filling up with 91 as driving from melbourne to Geelong for uni ain't cheap, will upgrade to 10 psi during my summer break!

Re tyres
Is there a reason you want to run such a skinny tyre on the rear or do you just want the staggered look and aren't worried about grip.
I'm running 8 x18' 35P 235/40 fronts and 9" x18" 45P with 275 tyres on mine with rolled guards.

3.46 rear gears is a good choice.

ill probably get flamed for this but yeah not to worried about grip, this is one of those form over function things, i probably should be trying to fit at least 255 rears but its not the look im going for

funny you say that i was just reading a thread and your comment won me over to 3.46
" For the V6 even the super6 3.45/3.46 is better than 3.7 unless you just want to race it.
Unlike the Ls engines which love to rev the ecotec isn't a great revver and 3.7's just have them screaming their heads off for no real gains. "
