sportswagon tailgate no power

Hay guys. Having issues with Power to the tailgate of my 09SV6 Sportswagon. Have no wiper, number plate light or tailgate release. Have tried fuses for anything boot related, but no joy. Any thoughts?

possibly a bad earth? or the wiring from the car into the tailgate could be damaged/have water in it?

Think it might be water issue. Wiper started working today, but no joy with tailgate switch or number plate lights. :'(

the tailgate open button and the number plate lights are both on the same loom so if there's a bad earth or water damage somewhere maybe at the connectors it could be a solution.
