Sure, they need to be directly relevant to tuning etc, any ebay threads asking if they are any good i will delete. I am going to sticky an ebay topic.

Ok a compromise sounds good! It would be helpful even just changing the section name and adding the word TUNING into it. As i'm going to assume new members etc who post up threads on "cop chips" Ebay chips etc, basically scan over the section heading, don't see the word "tuning" and throw up a thread.

This heading change may help with a stickied tuning thread in it as Hakhawk suggested.

it still comes back to square one lol theres ten thousand of these ebay chip threads and the new ones are all started by people with 1 post... clearly they dont even search. bit drastic but maybe make it so you cant post for 24 hours..... kinda force them to look through threads before just posting threads up.

good to see this has finally progressed. i wouldve posted earlier but didnt know this was going on. im sure greenfoam will appreciate this too, hopefully cutting down on his PMs and repetitive msn chats im sure he deals with. will come in very handy the next time i need to go searching for certain tunes and definition files

will give the new section a bit of time, give it a chance to get some traffic, and some use, but in all honesty i dont think it will last, it's fate will be similar to that of the aircon section and parts section, people will still post in the model specific section. only time will tell.
