I had the benefit of three salesmen, two mechanics, the service bod and the service manager hovering around the car trying to get it to work :)

Was yours a problem whichever key you used or just the one (like mine)?

I never tried the second key, it still had not been used when I sold the car.

I was told by my salesman that if we took both keys to wrap one in alfoil.

I guess we'll do that when we go on hols.

I drove home from the dealer with both keys in the centre console with no problems except that it put all the radio stations onto the key that I decided not to use so I had to reprogram, no biggie.

Precisely why our pathetic government need to introduce lemon laws. Although yours wouldn't comply as they have all been different faults.

Damm unlucky, hope dealer experience is better than the car.
Total agree with dgp, we need lemon laws, and they should include rules for what's happening to steve_2605 car, so the car companies look after you when, multiple failures happen.

Anyone noticed any bonnet vibration on their VF2? After a couple of trips on the cement section of the M1 motorway at 100 kmh it seems the back edge may be vibrating - of course it could be just the whole car relative to my eyes because that section is really noisy to drive over

Yeah, I have noticed this after only 1000kms. I'm 105kgs, but still... The seat is actually quite uncomfortable to sit in now, which isn't great for long haul trips...

Not really a fault but a weird one. When I pair my mobile phone is says "My Chevrolet" and not "My Holden"

Have a property in the country which has a long driveway which is dirt. My sportswagon which is a 07/13 build, the dust sealing is poor. Dust beats the outer door seals and builds up under the door between the outer and inner door seals. Apart from having to clean up the dust, it also rubs up against your clothes and I suspect the doors and not sealing as well as they should for noise as well. The vehicle has not been in accident and from the sides and looking along the car, the doors look to be well aligned. I had mentioned it on several occasions to two different dealers who just disregarded the matter. The vehicle is now out of warranty but it is now annoying me due to the volume of dust over time. I recall a member mentioned that in early VF models the doors seals were out of alignment due to a subcontractor manufacturing error. Can anyone confirm this and offer any advice. Many thanks

Does much dust enter the cabin? Dust gets into my door frames, but not into the cabin. It doesn't bother me, thought it was pretty normal tbh.
This may sound odd, but have you tried having the fan on high recircu─║ate? The pressure differential may help.

Yes. I think they all do it. The bonnet is lightweight aluminium. I noticed it initially. Rarely do now but. Have just blocked it out I guess?

^ Depends how anal you are about appearance, it has no bearing on anything apart from appearance.
I couldn't live with it, got 'em fixed. :)
Most sensible approach would probably be to wait 'til you want to sell, then get them all done; but I don't like being seen in a damaged-looking car. :)

You could get them repaired by someone mobile, but my experience was that they looked great initially but deteriorated over a year or so.
Getting them fixed professionally would be close to $1k for all four, plus they need to come off the car so it'd have to be OK not to be driving for a week or so ...
