All those prices are crap for what they are.
Do yourself a favour and put that $2000 towards some aftermarket rims and tyres.
Then sell the 19's to someone for $1200
Then you've only paid $1800 for some nice 20" inc tyres
I was under the impression that for even $2000 the HF20's were a very good quality wheel & the tyres they fit are also extremely good value?

I'm with you, I lowered a WH statesman by a fair degree a few years back and if I drove over a coin I could tell you if it was heads or tails...never again. Stock for me these days :)
And then there's driveways and speed bumps to contend with too. Hard enough to look after the front bumper on a standard car.

they are but just a stock holden rim.

I got a set of 20" lenso DR1's staggered aggressive offset with falken rubber for $2000 and can sell my old rims with less than 500km's for $800>1000.

Holden rims are plain and average on the VF2

The thing I don’t like about the OEM rim & tyre packages offered by Holden is they don’t fill out the big wheel wells the VE & VF series cars have.

I know you could say this about many manufacturers but when you are talking performance vehicles the width and offsets are way too conservative and that’s something the aftermarket crowd take advantage of for not much more money.

It's a shame really as some of the Holden rim designs are quite good.

Yep the offset could be a lot better with the Holden wheels and the ride height doesn't help.

I've always loved keeping it as factory as possible but I'll be getting some aftrermarket wheels for my Calais. I'll probably still put some Holden centre caps in the middle just to keep the theme :)

I've been impressed with how the staggered and concave looks work so well with the VF. Theres some classy ones in the "My ride" board.

I was going to get the HF 20s Machine face rim on a MY 17 Redline but didn't like how the HFs are only 8.5 and not the staggered 8.5/9 as standard so that stopped me

My understanding is the staggered 9in rears offset is close to half an inch more postive so they don't actually sit out any further than the 8.5, the extra width is moved to the inside. 8.5 +48 vs 9.0 +57 so 9in rears would sit ~3mm further out than an 8.5 on the rear but sit ~9mm further in. So wouldn't really be noticeable rim to guard too much.

For those of you who went for the HF20 option, did you get a tyre placard for the 20" tyre?
