Finally got the 305s mounted to the 17 inch Forgestar F14s.

Raised the rear 20mm and they fit perfectly, no rubbing inner or outer and clears callipers by a couple mm.

Can't be bothered writing the whole thing again, but thought I'd update here too. Thread above is drama with new diff.

Managed to find new set of shafts off a 28,000km redline with water damage for $350, he even included the stub axles to make things easier.

Problem we found with shaft

If anyone needs a diff hit up Chris Loumanis, Ford 9 inch diffs on Facebook. He persisted with my problem knowing there was nothing wrong with diff, top bloke. Shafts go in tomorrow and ******* hope its sorted. Just want to drive it.

2nd gear now when you go racing? 411s, I'd think first gear would be relatively useless?

Could try second gear launch I guess, would be pretty hard on clutch. 1st gear still usable on the street.

1900rpm in 6th at 100kph now, which is actually better as before at 100kph in 6th the car would buck and hunt due to cam, so had to stay in 5th at 2100rpm.

I guess it's a balancing act between trying not to wheel spin off the launch? As for being able to use 6th gear again, that must be nice haha

Latest little addition to the car. Love this thing. There are over 100 PIDs available.

It can also hold multiple tunes and data log via the supplied SD card, but I think you need HP tuners to read the logs.

I have the 6 gauge screen set up like this and the 4 gauge screen with short term and long term fuel trims for both banks. You just swipe to switch between screens.

Also have the LEDs up the top set to light up with varying levels of knock retard 1-6.

And you set the high and low warnings for each PID and the colour you want it to change to after reaching those levels.

After monitoring fuel pressure I’ve notice a decent drop to around 48psi at WOT near redline so that’s my next thing to address. Haven’t decided what set up yet but will be Flex E85.

Video is from cold start.

Know the post was about the new addition - but jeez that thing sounds tough!
