Probably not everyone’s cup of tea putting things on the car that aren’t supposed to be there. But I just think the series 2 front looks a lot more aggressive. Stoked with how it looks now.

Got a good second hand bumper cheap and got a good deal on new bonnet and all the other bits and pieces. Have to wait a month now before I can get it all buffed properly and ceramic coated.

Couple more photos. Got the car out in the sun today and the paint match is perfect.

The guys at Shockworks changed up the front setup today too so I could get the height I wanted. Went from 250mm 9kg/mm to 150mm 12kg/mm with helper spring. The guys there are awesome. Have helped me out a bunch. Highly recommend Shockworks.

Went for nice drive in the hills. The car handles amazing. I reckon there wouldn’t be many Commodore’s/HSV’s that take corners as good as this. Cant get anywhere near its limit on the road.

Too many
S2 front suits it perfectly. Far more agressive.

Yea for sure. Got a good deal on all the parts and after selling old stuff it didn’t actually cost that much.

Just curious why the heavier spring rates?

So I could run a shorter spring and lower the front more. The old set up was at full low.

Shock base height remained the same but the car is sitting slightly into its travel more now, about 10mm.

Latest little addition to the car. Love this thing. There are over 100 PIDs available.

It can also hold multiple tunes and data log via the supplied SD card, but I think you need HP tuners to read the logs.

I have the 6 gauge screen set up like this and the 4 gauge screen with short term and long term fuel trims for both banks. You just swipe to switch between screens.

Also have the LEDs up the top set to light up with varying levels of knock retard 1-6.

And you set the high and low warnings for each PID and the colour you want it to change to after reaching those levels.

After monitoring fuel pressure I’ve notice a decent drop to around 48psi at WOT near redline so that’s my next thing to address. Haven’t decided what set up yet but will be Flex E85.

Video is from cold start.

I 'LIKED' this post simply because of the sound your car makes, calling it the perfect concerto is still not praising it enough.
