Hey guys ive got a 2001 vu ute non abs and its got a bad wheel hub bearing im trying to find one off a vu or vx but they all have abs could i use a wheel hub bearing off a vt instead or are they different?

Its not in the car ive pulled them out and gave them a clean with a wire brush on an angle grinder so i just need to walk them in when i get a day off work

its about 10cm long and its in an open spot so not a hassle to reach and its not like a big split its just like a hairline crack.

Hey guys im thinking of putting 2. 6x9 speakers behind each of my seats in my ute on the back wall but im not too familiar with this biz im just wondering what an ideal amp would be to run 4 6x9 its gonna sit between my seats with the speakers next to it behind the seats any help appreciated

Hey guys was just having a look under my ute and noticed there is oil or tranny fluid all the way down the exhaust hanger below the tailshaft its coming from what looks like were it joins into the transmission just wondering what is needed to fix it or generally how much it would cost to fix...

hey has any one put speakers on the back wall of there ute in my vu its go a carpet wall which sounds hollow behind and i wouldnt mind putting 2 x 6/9 speakers behind each seat and an amp in the middle were the net thing used to be anyone done this before? cheers like in this photo below

Well ill head down repco and buy a new cable if i can get it out im more then possitive ill get it back in thanks guys i found a thread says you can slide it off the accelarator pedal with a flat head screw driver and slide it through the gap

I think ive got it figured out from the throttle body end and ive got plent of room to get it from under the steering area im just not sure on getting it off the accelarator pedal and what the go is with the yellow thing

yeap just like that so its not to hard to replace? and should i just be able to undo it from the throttle body unclip it from the accelerator pedal pull it all out and then reverse?

This is what ive gathered so far remove negative battery terminal unlplug o2 sensores from each side jack car onto stand unbolt cat flange from tailpipe then unbolt the 2 y piece ends off the manifold drop out and reverse putting back in but put a new gasket between the cat and the rear tail...

sorry for the bad description but yes the Y-piece how do i remove it? and is there only one gasket? the one that is between the cat and the tailpipe? or is there more ive got one from the wreckers ready to put in on the weekend

Hey everyone so i just found out my cat converter has **** itself and im gonna give a crack at replacing myself anyone have any tips like should i replace the gaskets while im at it or anything is much appreciated even a link to a thread on how to do it thanks guys

Would removing the 02 sensore be another way to test if its the cat
