the way i did it in my vh and hilux was i made some spacers shaped to the floor out of RHS and drilled new holes in the floor.if you choose this way you will at very least need something like this under the bolts...

the diameter of the shaft is 19.84mm. its funny this post popped up,i just had a hub machined up for the same blower to take a gilmer belt pulley. if you need any other measurments ill be glad to help also dirtyhands i believe the charger you posted is the mp90,i could be wrong though

very few updates as of late,been busy with work and other stuff.car has changed direction now manifold half finished(yes i know the engine bay is a mess at the moment) no longer being registered,will be done up as a track car

going with the rear entry holden m90,its getting mocked up onto a 173 HC blue motor untill i get the 202 built for it. its not going to be a full blown race car,just a bit of fun for a cheap-ish track car

That motor looks a little more than I'm wanting to do currently, nice sound from it tho. Does anyone know how an xu1 spec cam will handle the blower?

latest project im taking on is to supercharge a holden straigh six,the blower im using is an m90 off of an l67. this motor will run a dcoe45 on drawthrough,my main concern is the non-sealed bearings at the back of the rotor pack.has anyone converted them to sealed? if so was the any bearing...

so i have a series 2 vy ss with a broken button on the left side sterring wheel controls,i am having trouble finding a replacment set that light up. i have found a set on ebay out of a wl grange,will these work with a vy ss with illuminated buttons?

so i went to the car yard the other day,explained the situation and ther gave me my money back.still have informed consumer affairs aswell,they are looking into it. so im happy with the outcome i got my money back.and consumer affairs are looking into it

i understand what you are saying and it would apply if this was a private sale,however i boiugh the car from a LMCT who by law are required to run certain checks and to advise a buyer of these kinds of details. i find it highly un likely that the LMCT didnt falsify the documents

Regardless of what the car yard does,i still think it would be a good idea to report it to the relevant authorites.might as well get some mmoney off them first. is there a decent fine if they get caught doing this?

slight electrical gremlin,if anyone can help would be great. both side indicators work fine with headlights off and the parkers turned on,but as soon as i turn headlights on the left side indicators stop flashing.the car has vk wiring and tail lights on it ATM.is it just a case of bad earth?

the rust above the window is only skin deep,engine bay is allready alot neater without the air con and unnessisary wiring gone.payed $500 for it so im happy enough to have something to tinker with again

not sure on the engine currently,still on p plates so no v8 yet.either way im a perfectionist with mechanical stuff

thanks man,no build plate to be seen.guess its gone. theres no rust under the carpet its just very dirty and gross. there is however a few rust holes on the bottom of the doors to be fixed and then buy some ss skirts off ebay,then paints time(after prep work of course)

where is the build plate on these cars?.theres 2 plates in the top left corner of the engine bay,but it only list paint code and not much else. is there a plate that says the original engine number and options it was built with?

engine bay(air con is allready gone) interior is in decent shape factory 5 speed 8 inch round 3 way speakers.thats a new one

no,theres only 1 little spot under the charcoal cannister,the bottom of the doors is another story
