Hi everyone, thanks for the replies, it does sound like a lot of effort for something that can potentially mess up later on down the track. Just to clarify thought both the utes did not come with factory central locking/keyless entry. so the key has to go into the door to unlock anyway.

I have a 94 vr ute and a 95 vs ute. My question is am I able to get the security data in the vr bcm changed or reprogrammed so I could use the keyhead from the vs to start both cars. I don't want to carry 2 paddle pop keys on my keying. Haha.

why isnt it possibble i thought it would just be a case of gettin holden to program the remote to the central locking modual much the same as you would with a vs or vr. James

I put $100 in the vn ss 2 weeks ago here and that didnt fill her up (it was premium) but yeh $1.35 litre 2 weeks ago, Like Garth said even if and when it gets to $5 a litre i will still fill her up every week.

is there any way to actually check the water pump or do i just have to remove it from the car and look at it, no plastc bags or small children on radiator.
