just use the cigarette wire unless you smoke in your car

i cleaned mine with degreaser then sanded back with 800 wet and dry then did about 3 coates then 2 clear coates over the top finished product

i'm guessing but i'd say the tint is probably 25% or 35%

not sure on that but all i did was use degreaser on it then some really fine wet and dry a few light coats then a clear coat on top

yes headlights definatly have to be changed these ones are longer and more pointy

i really wanted an apprenticeship in auto elec but i'm glad now that no business in my area had any room because i'd imagine it would pretty technical at times. i ended up getting an apprenticeship in refridgeration and air conditioning instead.

yeah i found my rear window heater fuse melted today had the right size fuse to wierd yet it still worked fine this morning i've taken it out still dunno what caused it

no engine mods just yet i'm unsure how far i'll go it's only a v6 so i don't see much point. in a few years i'll update to a clubby or something so i'll mod that and the seat just had a broken clip at that stage all fixed now though thanks for the comments guys !;)

ah yes so it isn't normal, the lights don't actually have parkers in them so i figured the 2 on either side at the bottom would act as parkers which i haven't got yet but yeah i did notice when changing to high beam low beam turns off i just figured it was normal for those lights they still...

no locker diff see post above, as for headlights they're just a straight swap which was good i expected them to be difficult 20min and the whole front was changed over

it's got pedders touring springs and no engine mods just yet i've been concentrating on the look more and then maybe some engine mods to follow i'm only thinkin bigger throttle body and exhaust and roller rockers after all it's only an executive so i don't think it's worth it i'll save it for my...

yeah i have a vt therefore the front bar is a straight swap apart from the lights of course. I got a good price for the lights i think normal retail is $480ea i ended up getting them for $280ea so pretty stoked with that i'll post some pics for sure :thumbsup:

yeah i should of mentioned i do have a vz monaro front bar but i now need the lights to match :thumbsup: but there are 2 to pick from both the same shape light but there must be some other difference with them ???

i need to buy a set of vz monaro lights but i've been told there are two different types available cv8z ones and the monaro ones has anyone come across them and know what the difference betwen the two is ?? thanks in advance

yeah that's the only other way i thought of doing it to yeah it does sound a bit silly but apparently it's the rules if i haven't got one of these no race

so no one has obviously been down the strip and had to use one of these then i find that unusual

anyone know how to hook up another overflow bottle in a vt ? ( coke bottle type ) need it for drags apparently and been told that vt's don't have a second hose or whatever you need to do it

yeah i'd check the fuse first dude if it isn't it'll be a pain in the arse you'll have take it all out and re solder the wire on but i can't see the wire coming off though you would of had to rip it out pretty hard for that to happen
