YA oil pressure sensor question: Which one to buy?

Hey guys thanks for the replies. I can't remember where I read about 3 different sensors, probably on reddit or whirlpool, Lol. But now I can buy with confidence. And I won't forget the 27 mm deep socket ;)

YA oil pressure sensor question: Which one to buy?

Hi Commodore Lovers, My VZ Failtec is getting the dreaded "check engine" error, my mates checker says it's the oil pressure sensor, now I'm getting intermittent "check oil" warnings even though oil level is good and no leaks, not running like a tractor, etc. (Don't worry I've been thru the...

Do's and Don'ts when getting pulled over

Last time I was pulled over, I'd put the foot down to make a green light coming out of a shopping centre car park. Nearly clipped a cop car backing out of a parking space. They pulled me over and gave me a bit of a telling off, and stuck me on the breathalyser (standard procedure I s'pose). But...

    So what's your IQ?

I've never had my IQ tested, but I presume it'll be high, as I always got good marks at school and uni, and I consider myself fairly smart if I do say so myself. Having said that, my life situation isn't much of a success at all; for one thing I have trouble focusing on whatever task is at hand...

    Parked like an idiot....

This is the most brilliant idea I've ever seen. Seriously, how much easier would it be to align yourself up with a single centre (or drivers side) line, rather than guessing between two parallel lines in your blind spots. Yea I personally don't have any problem with the current parking system...

    Things that p*** you off/bug you/annoy you

... a-holes that borrow a mate's car with a disabled sticker, just so they can park in the disabled spot. Really p**es me off... for one they are perfectly able-bodied but too lazy to walk a bit of extra distance, and two now some poor disabled sod (like my dad) has to hobble out of a regular...

Help with ACCC.. dont know my rights

Aw **** mate don't start telling people that. We don't want to end up like America, where some guy gets "ripped off" for $0 and goes on to sue for mental distress or some nonsense. The rest of ur post is interesting though.

What Was Your Very First Car?

My first car was a '73 HQ Monaro 2 door. I know what ur thinking... but sadly, no. It had a completely stock 173 motor (that's 2.8L) and 3-speed trimatic. Man that thing was f*** slow! But just as well, coz it has unboosted drum brakes all round, and was a terrifying beast to bring from its top...

    back in the old days

lol crank up the Leo Sayer, as well. Seriously, some shopping centres have started playing this kind of "light 'n easy" to keep the hooligans away. Might be just the ticket to make the doof-doofs piss off for good.

low fuel warning is there a second warning ?

I find the "low fuel" warning is like the "low battery" warning on an iPod... there's still heaps to go in the tank. But when it gets to that 2nd warning, best have a servo in sight, coz the 3rd warning is indicated by the speedo dropping to "0".

fuel gauge error, Service vehicle soon.

Sorry mate, I had a 19 y-o Commodore as well, the ECU went after 3 years, cost $600 to replace. Granted $600 is less than $1050... oh wait, back in 1995 no it wasn't. Listen I know when you get an expensive repair bill, you get frustrated and want to vent some steam, but don't talk thru your arse.

    illuminated door locks

Holy smokes it must be dark where you park your car ;) Yeah just buy a LED keyring mate, cost you 5 bucks at crazy clarks. Although I admit having light-up door locks would look awesome, but it would be a hassle to rig up & install.

What people have to remember is, hydrogen is not an energy source... it's an energy storage solution. You can't sink a well and mine hydrogen, coz it doesn't exist in native form anywhere on earth. Two ways to get hydrogen are: 1) Electrolysis of water, 2) Cracking hydrocarbons. 1) requires as...

    vz commodore, lemon???

I remember my dad swore off Holden and switched to Ford coz he bought a lemon. What model was it? 1970 HG Kingswood. Then in 1980 he bought a Cortina with the 6-cyl 250, worst PoS he ever bought, luckily someone T-boned and wrote it off. In 1988 in his Ford ute, the motor packed it in coz some...

I make it a point never to drink before 8pm... then it's all bets off. Hello from the US

Gidday Blair, nice to a see seppo member ;) One of my dreams is to own a '69 Dodge Charger, preferably orange with "01" on the side xD ... Failing that an early 70's Chevy Impala (black of course). Those cars just have "the look". I figure it's a fair trade, since many of our XA/XB Falcons...

Consumption economy Fuel average liters Km

Queensland Police Order 15 Year Old To Deflate His Pushbike Back Tyre.

The trouble with these skinny-wristed hippy types, who are all "smacking is physical abuse", is where does it stop? Pretty soon a stern talking to will not be allowed, coz it's "mental abuse". What then, grounding will be "unlawful imprisonment"? And so little Moonbeam is running riot like a...
