or get a 2 tone with a 4.2 and swap it with a 5.0

are you talking about the sle trim? or the slx/sl trim? the sle trim doesnt fade since its aluminium, if you're talking about the thinner stuff then yes it fades, you can get away with no tool, i recommend lots of wd40 and a good technique/home made tool.

ive got a 2 tone vh slx, unsure if its original 2 tone, probly not. from my understanding the blue over silver is the rarest color, good luck finding any vh commodore regardless of color for a decent price that hasnt been molestered.

hi guys, my volt meter fluctuates wildly between 12 and off the gauge randomly while driving, it isn't in relation to revs or speed (but usually only happens when driving, not stopped), it just does it randomly, and if i have my lights on, they will go brighter when spiking just like im flashing...

if the shell has rust, get a new shell, if its just bolt on panels then buy new panels.

it is rough, the 308 is the only thing holding it up, which seems to be in good order. id like to note it ISNT the factory 308, it had a 253 in it. would that make the worth drop?

cool story. in other news, i picked up a twin into single (joins just before the diff section i think) 2.5" system tonight. its in sections so all i have to do is weld her up! saved about 400 bucks! the system is a burkley or something. see how we go with that. thanks for the advice guys!
