I would like some help with 2002 3.8 v6 auto holden commodore vx. The key fob does not open the doors and the car starts but dies . There is no scanner for the car ( tech2) in the area. How could i check if it is the bcm . The key sends signal to the bcm ( checked yellow wire from receiver )but there is no sound coming from the bcm or door locks. The red security light keeps fashing with key in on possition. Key battery is good (3.2v) slip ring on ignition makes contact with key. Roof light does not turn on when unlock is pressed on key. Thanks. Piet Grobler . Port Elizabth .South Africa.

oh dear, you have problems
i think due to location you would be best to buy a used set for your car
PCM, BCM and keys/remotes

Thank you very much. I checked on ebay and got the whole set from all makes in Edinburgh. Thank you. Is there a way to start or bypass the immobilizer to move the car. I tried leaving it on for 2 hours.

Where could i get a pcm with vats removed. The local auto electrician say that he could maybe write a new eeprom for bcm, ecm. I would like to get the car going while i wait for the keys bcm ecm from AUS. It will take 6 weeks because of our useless post office.
