2016 VF Series release date

So can anybody tell me when the last series will be released next year ?

As it will be the end of the commodore etc im going to get either a ssv redline ute or a maloo but I do not want to do it until I know the next series is released.

Any help/info would be appreciated

Series 2 should be released in October-ish this year. It will be Model Year 2016 but a 2015 build. Confusing but that's how they do it.

Yes, they always release a "2016 model" around the end of the 3rd quarter of 2015, to try & generate some sales buzz with the shiny new model.
The Americans are the most adept at it, they'll release a "2016 model" in June of 2015.

Factory shutdown is week 3 and 4 of September. Compulsory holidays and then when they start up again they will be building MY16 VF.

Well they mustn't be planning on selling many MY15's as lot is lucky to be half full(lots of caprices amt), few new blue slipstream in lot this week

Order books have opened for Chev SS update. Looks like they might get the supercharged engine in their SS. They are losing the fog lights, but getting new ducting on the bumper bar and redesigned LED lighting. They also get "working vents" on the bonnet.

Correction, they are getting the LS3, so looks like the new facia no longer has Fog lights.
