'ere we go again with weird stampings :rofl: I pulled the tags out of their picture frame and it is definately 568-31727 - even read 'em backwards coz there's no paint on that side

maybe, just maybe..we are talking a VH colour

now, all I gotta do, is find my VH charts

568 as a prefix indicates a solid (non metallic colour) so is it possible this may be the predecessor to police blue if it is a light blue?

It is (or was) a light blue, so light that the original paint had faded that much that when I first saw it I thought it was white. It was only under the bonnet, boot etc that showed it was actually blue. Just looking at the tag again and it appears there is a slight hint of green in it

Oh well, with the combined knowledge that's here, it'll get itself found out in the end and maybe it's time I got me eyes tested :bop: see my next post :whistling
